Nam Tin Hotel (The Great Southern Hotel) is located at the junction of Eu Tong Sen Street and Upper Cross Street. Originally started as a boutique hotel, it has since been renamed Yue Hwa Building, selling traditional Chinese produce. An important landmark of Chinatown and under conservation guidelines, Hexacon completed restoration work on the then existing building, and it was awarded the URA Architectural Heritage Award (Winner) in 1997.
